Ann was first discovered while she performed at a Vogue fashion show in her group. Diana Vreeland ordered Ann to perform her first Vogue photo shoot with Richard Avedon within one week. Ann then became one the top models across the country, appearing on cover images for some of the largest fashion magazines. They comprised Vogue Bazaar as well Cosmopolitan. After two years Ann began to appear on international fashion shows with her successful modeling throughout Europe as well as Japan for the roles of face of major cosmetic brands like Max Factor Revlon and Chanel.
